This Privacy Policy explains the purposes for which information is processed, the types of information involved, and how information is retained and deleted to protect the privacy of users of MotionCut (the “App”). In this policy, “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to the operator of the App.
MotionCut converts a selected portion of a video into a Live Photo, which you can store within the App or export to your photo library.
The App does not require registration or sign-in. Photo and video conversion takes place on your device. The App does not upload your selected videos or generated Live Photos to our servers. We do not automatically collect account information, such as your name, email address, or phone number, through your use of the App.
If you contact us directly by email, we process the information needed to handle your inquiry as described in Section 4.
The App processes the following information on your device to provide the features you request.

The App’s own features do not transmit this information to our servers or to advertising or analytics providers. Backup and diagnostic sharing features provided by your device’s operating system are described separately in Section 6.
The App uses the iOS photo picker to import videos that you explicitly select. It does not require access to your entire photo library for video selection.
When you export a generated Live Photo to your photo library, the App requests permission to add photos. This permission is used to save the files you request to your photo library. If you do not grant this permission, exporting to your photo library will be unavailable, but you can still view Live Photos stored within the App.
You can change or revoke MotionCut’s photo permissions in iOS Settings. Revoking permission does not automatically delete files already stored within the App or exported to your photo library.
The App does not request access to your camera, microphone, contacts, or device location.
If you contact us at our support email address, we may receive your email address, sender display name, the contents of your inquiry, and any materials you choose to attach. We use this information only to review and respond to your inquiry, resolve issues, and handle privacy requests.
Contacting us is optional and is not required to use the App’s core features. Please avoid including personal information or other people’s photos or videos that are not necessary to resolve your inquiry.
We delete this personal information without undue delay once your inquiry has been resolved and the purpose for retaining it has been fulfilled. If retention is required by law, we retain only the information required by that law, keep it separately for the required period, and then delete it. Email inquiries are sent and received through the email services used by you and us.
